THE HERALDRY SOCIETY exists to increase and extend interest in and knowledge of heraldry, armory, chivalry, genealogy and allied subjects. The Society is nonprofit making and is registered as an educational charity. Membership is open to all. As well as enjoying the privileges and advantages of membership, subscriptions help to further the aims of the Society.

Members receive the quarterly newsletter of the Society, The Heraldry Gazette, and can subscribe to the twice-yearly journal The Coat of Arms. Lectures are held in London and, like our publications, provide a forum for scholarly research, as well as offering a broad range of talks on heraldic and related subjects.

For more information, check our FAQ section, search the site through our search engine on this page, or contact us by clicking on the link at the top of the page.

The Society is governed by a Council with members elected at the Annual General Meetings held in December each year. The current members of Council can be seen here.

Heraldry Gazette:

A Copy of the December 2008 edition is now available online.

It was with great sadness the Society learnt of the death of Peter Page, Editor of "The Heraldry Gazette",. He died on 20th April after a long and trying illness. His contribution to heraldry in his home county of Norfolk and nationally has been immense and we mourn his loss.
