The Flag Institute Spring Conference 2026 will take place at Gather Round, Brunswick Square, Bristol, on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 May. The Saturday offers a full day of talks on flags, identity and heritage, exploring how national and local flags are created, used and understood in public life. On Sunday there are optional guided visits to M Shed (Bristol Museums) and Brunel’s SS Great Britain, which set Bristol’s social and maritime history in context.
