Heraldry in the Battle of Barnet 1471

7:00 pm 16 September 2020 This lecture will now be only on Zoom

Join us for another sumptuous visual feast and exploration of this critical event in the fifteenth-century English conflict; this talk will put it in its dynastic context and show how a heraldic badge changed the course of history.

Coming at the end of the Wars of the Roses, this battle was a significant victory for the Yorkist King Edward IV over his Lancastrian opponents, the adherents of Henry VI.
