Theme: Flying Heraldry: Banners, Standards and Guidons

Venue: Keynes College, University of Kent

Date: Thursday 1 August—Sunday 4 August

In association with The Flag Institute

There will be the usual selection of lectures within the conference theme and a Banquet on the Saturday evening where delegates can wear their finery and gongs.  Armigerous delegates are encouraged to bring their table banners to tie in with the theme of the Congress.

We are also planning a visit  to Canterbury Cathedral with a special tour of the Great Cloister and a visit to the Institute of Heraldic and Genealogical Studies in Canterbury to see the Heraldry Society Library and the IHGS Heraldry Library.

Accommodation is in modern student blocks with a lift. Single en suite study bedrooms and a kitchen between a number of rooms.  There are also some twin en suite rooms available and also ground floor if needed.

Lectures will take place in a lecture theatre and there will also be an Exhibition.

Full Board from Thursday evening until Sunday lunchtime.
